Creamed Chicken & Biscuits

Ingredients:

  1. 1/2 whole - Large onion
  2. 1 1/2 teaspoons - Butter
  3. 4 cups - Chopped, cooked chicken
  4. 1 cans - 10 3/4-oz Cream of chicken soup
  5. 1 cups - Sour cream
  6. 1/2 cups - Milk
  7. 1/2 cups - Chopped pimiento
  8. 1 cups - Shredded mild cheddar cheese Divided use
  9. 6 whole - Frozen biscuits Thawed

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350. Grease the bottom and sides of an 11 X 7-in. baking dish.
2. Chop the onion. Heat butter in a small nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until melted. Stir in onion. Saute until tender.
3. Combin onion, chicken, soup, sour cream, milk and pimiento in a medium bowl and mix well. Spoon mixture into prepared baking dish. Bake for 15 min. Remove from oven.
4. Sprinkle baked layer w/ 3/4 C. of the cheddar cheese. Arrange biscuits in single layer over top. Sprinkle with remaining cheddar cheese.
5. Bake unti biscuits are golden brown and the sauce is bubbly, about 20 min. longer. Serve immediately.
