Fried Mushroom Appetizers

Ingredients:

  1. 1 1/2 pounds - button mushrooms (cleaned with ends cut off)
  2. 2 - eggs
  3. 2 tablespoons - milk
  4. 1/4 teaspoons - black pepper
  5. 1 cups - breadcrumbs (dry italian seasoned)
  6. 1/2 cups - butter

Directions:

1. Beat eggs and milk together until fluffy.
2. Mix in pepper.
3. Dip mushrooms into egg mixture.
4. Then roll in bread crumbs.
5. Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat until hot.
6. Fry mushrooms stirring occasionally until they are tender and batter is brown.
