Red or green peppers or broccoli flowerets can be used instead of mushrooms and onion. Diced ham or bologna can be used instead of pepperoni or salami.

Ingredients:
- - No-Stick Cooking Spray
- 1 - large egg
- 1/2 cups - Italian-seasoned bread crumbs
- 1/3 cups - milk
- 1 pounds - lean ground beef
- 1/2 teaspoons - salt, divided
- 1/2 teaspoons - freshly ground black pepper, divided
- 3 tablespoons - vegetable oil
- 4 ounces - sliced mushrooms, drained
- 1/2 - medium red onion, peeled and thinly sliced
- 3/4 cups - pizza sauce
- 2 ounces - pepperoni or salami
- 4 ounces - shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions:
HEAT oven to 425°F. Coat 13 x 9-inch baking pan with no-stick cooking spray.
BEAT egg in medium bowl. Add bread crumbs, milk, beef, 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Mix well. Pat into bottom of prepared pan.
BAKE 20 minutes.
HEAT oil in large skillet on medium-high heat while meat is baking. Add mushrooms, onion, 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Cook and stir 4 minutes, or until mushrooms are cooked and onion is soft.
REMOVE meat from oven. Pour off any liquid. Spread with pizza sauce. Top with cooked vegetables and pepperoni or salami. Sprinkle with cheese. Return to oven.
BAKE 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
