Ingredients:
- 1/2 cups - Sue Bee Honey
- 4 tablespoons - butter
- 3/4 cups - rolled oats
- 3/4 cups - all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cups - brown sugar
- 1 teaspoons - ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons - water
- 2 teaspoons - lemon juice
- 4 1/2 cups - peeled, cored and sliced apples (Jonathan or Granny Smith apples work best)
- - vanilla ice cream
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Lightly grease an 8" or 9" square glass baking dish.
3. Evenly spread the apple slices in the prepared dish.
4. In a small bowl, mix the lemon juice and water, and pour over the apples.
5. Drizzle apples with honey, and sprinkle with cinnamon.
6. Set aside.
7. In a bowl, mix the brown sugar, flour, oats, and butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
8. Sprinkle over the apples.
9. Bake 25 minutes in the preheated oven, until apples are tender and topping is lightly browned.
10. Serve warm, in individual bowls, topped with vanilla ice cream.
